Top Spin 2 for the Game Boy Advance is a tennis simulation featuring professional tour competition. Players can compete in major tournaments such as Wimbledon, the U.S. Open, and the Australian Open across various court surfaces.
The roster includes sixteen licensed professionals, among them Roger Federer, Andy Roddick, Venus Williams, and Maria Sharapova. Alternatively, a custom player can be created by selecting gender, name, nationality, appearance, and attire.
Gameplay involves developing and executing a range of shots, including serves, volleys, forehands, and backhands. The objective is to progress through a career mode by defeating opponents to win a championship, which presents a challenging progression. For multiplayer matches, each participant must have their own game cartridge and a link cable.
