Tak and the Power of Juju is a side scrolling action title for the Game Boy Advance. The adventure spans eight distinct worlds, which are further divided into multiple levels.
Its narrative centers on the evil shaman Tlaloc, whose prophesied theft of the Moon Stones threatens the Moon Juju. The intended guardian, the apprentice Lok, has been transformed into a sheep along with the rest of the village, leaving Tak as the sole remaining hero.
Gameplay involves navigating these levels with a starting blowgun, later acquiring a club. The experience includes variety through segments designed for swimming and flying.
