Pokemon Pinball Ruby & Sapphire is a Game Boy Advance title that adapts the series into a pinball format. The core activity involves using a Poke-ball as the pinball to achieve high scores while simultaneously working to capture creatures.
Capturing the 200 available Pokemon is integrated into the pinball play. This is accomplished by directing the ball to specific targets on the table, which triggers capture sequences or mini-games. The game features two distinct pinball tables, each themed after either the Ruby or Sapphire version, and each offers a unique set of Pokemon to collect.
While direct competitive multiplayer is absent, the game supports connectivity. Players can exchange both captured Pokemon and high score data using a link cable.
