Xeno Tactic 2 Overview
Xeno Tactic 2 was one of those tower defense games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to reinvent the genre, but it offered a solid, focused experience that kept you clicking for a while. The game had a clean, functional look that was typical for the time, with maps that gradually introduced new challenges.
You control a cursor, placing different turrets along a set path to stop waves of alien vehicles. Your main objective is simple: prevent a certain number of enemies from reaching the end of the route. You earn cash for each alien destroyed, which you then spend on new towers or upgrades for existing ones. The pacing starts slow, letting you learn the map, but the difficulty ramps up steadily as faster and tougher units appear. Managing your limited funds between building new defenses and improving old ones becomes the core tension. The game feels methodical and satisfying when your carefully planned defenses hold a wave, and quietly stressful when they don't.
