Word Strip Overview
Word Strip was one of those games you'd find tucked away on a Flash portal in the 2000s. It was straightforward, the kind of thing you'd play for a few minutes between other tasks. The premise was simple, and it didn't try to be anything more than that.
You control a typist, essentially. Words scroll down the screen, and you have to type them correctly before they reach the bottom. Each correct word removes a piece of clothing from the character on screen. The main objective is to clear all the words to complete the strip. The mechanics are basic typing under a light time pressure; some words are longer, and the pace can pick up. It's not particularly difficult, but it keeps your fingers moving. The experience feels like a very casual, slightly cheeky typing test.
