Ultimate Sonic Overview
You control Sonic, or one of several other characters, running and jumping through side-scrolling zones. The main goal is to get to the end of each act, avoiding robots and collecting rings along the way. You can build up speed on slopes and use a spin dash to burst forward from a standstill. The game includes a password system to save your progress and a time trial mode for racing against the clock. It moves quickly, though the physics can feel a bit loose compared to the official games. Playing it feels like a fast, slightly unpredictable dash through a familiar world.
