Transformers Quest Overview
Transformers Quest was one of those Flash games you'd find on a fan site in the mid-2000s. It fit right into that era of simple, browser based adventures. You played as a lone Autobot scout, navigating a series of grid based maps. The goal was straightforward: find the AllSpark fragments and escape before the Decepticons closed in.
You control the scout with your mouse, clicking on squares to move him across each level. Your main tasks are collecting the glowing energy cubes and locating hidden data pads that offer clues. You have to be careful, though. Black and purple Decepticon mines are scattered around, and touching one ends your mission. The game moves at a steady, thoughtful pace. It is not about speed but about planning your route to avoid traps and dead ends. The challenge comes from figuring out the safe path with limited information. It feels like a quiet, tense game of logic set in a familiar universe.
