Super Motocross Overview
You control a rider on a motocross bike across a series of side-scrolling tracks. The main objective is to reach the finish line for each level, but you also collect stars scattered along the path. Moment to moment, you're constantly adjusting. You press the up arrow to accelerate and the down arrow to brake or reverse. The left and right arrows lean the rider backward or forward, which is crucial for landing jumps smoothly or getting the front wheel over steep ramps. Some of those ramps are genuinely difficult to clear, requiring careful timing of your acceleration and lean. The pacing is quick, and a mistimed landing can easily flip the bike. It feels like a constant, physical negotiation with the bike's weight and momentum.
