Stick Hero Overview
Stick Hero was one of those games you'd find in the later days of Flash, a simple concept that felt right at home on a browser tab during a free period. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick test of timing and patience.
You control a small stick figure, and your only job is to get from one platform to the next. The gap between them is too wide to jump, so you hold the mouse button to extend a stick from your character like a growing plank. Let go at the right length, and the stick falls to bridge the gap. Step across carefully; if the stick is too short, you'll fall, and if it's too long, it will tip over. The goal is simply to cross as many gaps as you can. The game starts gently, but the platforms soon vary in width and distance, demanding more precise clicks. It feels like a quiet, repetitive puzzle of your own making, where each successful crossing is a small, satisfying click.
