Starcraft Flash Action 3 Overview
Starcraft Flash Action 3 was one of those games you'd find on a Flash portal in the late 2000s. It was a simplified, browser based take on the real time strategy series, designed to run quickly and offer a few minutes of distraction. The game captured the look of the original units and structures, even if it played quite differently.
You control a small group of Terran units, mostly marines and siege tanks, with your mouse. The moment to moment play involves clicking to move your squad and attack the waves of Zerg that approach from the right side of the screen. Your main objective is to defend your base structure for as long as possible. You manage resources by collecting mineral patches that appear, which lets you call in reinforcements or repair damaged units. The pacing is relentless; the Zerg come faster and in greater numbers as time goes on, making it a race to build your forces before being overrun. It feels like a constant, scrappy fight for survival against an endless tide.
