Sponge Bob Square Pants: Deep Sea Smashout Overview
You control SpongeBob himself, or rather his head, which slides back and forth as your paddle at the bottom of the screen. The goal is to clear each stage by bouncing a ball to break all the blocks arranged above. The blocks are often sea creatures like jellyfish, and hitting them releases collectible items, maybe a Krabby Patty for points. You use the arrow keys to move, and the spacebar launches the ball to start each round. The pace is steady, with the ball speeding up as you progress, and missing it costs a life. It feels like a calm, methodical game of digital ping-pong set under the sea.
