Snow Drift Overview
Snow Drift was one of those games you'd find tucked away on a Flash portal in the late 2000s. It didn't have a big studio name attached, just a simple, clear idea. You played as a yeti on a sled, and the screen scrolled automatically, pushing you forward through a white landscape.
You control the yeti with the arrow keys, steering left and right to build momentum. The main goal is to knock penguins off the ice and into the water while avoiding seals and polar bears. Tapping the down arrow makes you drift, a quick slide that lets you dodge obstacles or line up a hit. The game starts calmly, but the speed picks up, and the obstacles come faster. It feels like a balancing act, a constant push and pull between chasing points and staying alive.
