Skull Kid Overview
Skull Kid was one of those games that felt typical of the Flash era. It appeared online around the early 2000s, a time when simple, direct concepts were common. You played as a skeletal child character, and the goal was straightforward destruction.
You control the skull-headed kid through a side-scrolling office. Your main tool is a chainsaw, which you use to hack apart cubicles, computers, and furniture. The objective is to demolish the entire building. After wrecking the place, you switch to a gun to shoot the fleeing office workers. The controls are basic: arrow keys to move and duck, the spacebar to swing the chainsaw or fire. The game moves quickly, and the difficulty comes from the sheer number of targets and the need to be thorough. It feels chaotic and deliberately crude, a short burst of cartoonish havoc.
