Simply Smashing Overview
Simply Smashing was one of those Flash games you'd find in the mid-2000s, a short distraction built around a specific cartoon moment. It came from the Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends universe, and the premise was straightforward. Duchess, convinced she's the only real work of art in the house, decides to smash everything else. Your job is to stop the chaos.
You control Frankie, moving her left and right with your mouse across the bottom of the screen. Vases, paintings, and other valuables tumble from above. Your only action is to position Frankie under them to make the catch. It's a pure test of timing and anticipation. Every so often, you can click to call Eduardo, who rushes in to carry a stack of rescued items to safety. This creates a small rhythm: catch a few objects, clear them out, then immediately focus on the next falling piece. The pace is steady, and missing too many breaks ends the game. It feels like managing a controlled panic, a simple loop of reaction and minor relief.
