Shop Don't Drop Overview
Shop Don't Drop was one of those simple, quick games you'd find during the Flash era. It fit right in with other browser-based distractions, the kind you'd play for a few minutes between other tasks. The premise was straightforward: you were at a mall during a big sale, and your goal was to grab as much as you could.
You control a shopper from a side view, moving left and right with your mouse. Your character automatically walks forward through the mall's levels, and you click to pick up items that appear. The challenge is balancing a growing, wobbling stack of purchases on your head. If the pile leans, you must quickly move underneath the tipping side to steady it. The game ends if you lose your balance three times. The pace picks up as you go, with more items and trickier placements. It feels like a constant, slightly frantic race against your own clumsiness.
