Shoot The Gems Overview
Shoot The Gems was one of those straightforward games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick, satisfying puzzle to play in a browser window. The mechanics were simple, and it fit right in with other casual games of that time.
You control a launcher at the bottom of the screen, aiming a colored gem upward into a clustered board. Your goal is to clear every gem from the playfield. You point your mouse to choose a trajectory and click to fire. Matching three or more gems of the same color causes them to vanish; any gems left hanging without support then detonate in a chain reaction. The pace starts slow but builds tension as the board fills, demanding more precise shots. It feels like a careful, methodical process of dismantling a colorful structure.
