Samurai Warrior Overview
You control a lone samurai in a side-view arena, facing off against a single opponent. The moment-to-moment play is about closing the distance, trading blows, and trying to land a clean hit. You move left and right, jump to avoid low attacks, and use a block to mitigate damage. The main objective is to deplete your opponent's health bar before they deplete yours. Specific keys triggered different attacks, like high and low punches or kicks, encouraging you to mix up your approach. The pacing was quick, with rounds often ending in just a few exchanges, and the difficulty could spike depending on the opponent. It felt like a quick, tactile test of timing and spacing.
