Samurai Defense Overview
Samurai Defense was one of those straightforward Flash games you'd find in the late 2000s. It fit right in with the era's simple, browser based strategy titles. You didn't need an account or a download, just a web browser and some time to spare.
You control a single samurai stationed at a dojo gate. Your job is to stop waves of enemy soldiers from breaking through. With the mouse, you select different unit types to summon, like archers or swordsmen, placing them along the path. The main objective is to survive as many waves as possible, building your forces between attacks. You manage gold earned from defeated enemies to buy new units or upgrades. The pacing is steady, with each wave growing a bit stronger, demanding better placement and resource management. It feels like a quiet, focused test of your ability to hold a line.
