Pucca Pursuit Overview
Pucca Pursuit was one of those simple, quick games you'd find during the Flash era. It came out in 2005, made by a studio called Vooz. You played as Pucca, the girl from the animated series, in a straightforward side-scrolling run.
You control Pucca as she automatically runs forward. The goal is to catch her cat, Garu, who is always just ahead. You press up to jump over gaps and obstacles, down to slide under barriers, and spacebar to trigger a brief burst of super speed. The right and left arrows adjust her running pace, letting you speed up to grab items or slow down to avoid pitfalls. The game moves at a steady clip, and the challenge comes from timing your jumps and slides correctly as the scenery changes. It feels like a light, responsive dash where you're always leaning forward, trying to close that little gap.
