Primitive Rush Overview
Primitive Rush was one of those simple, frantic games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick diversion, a way to kill a few minutes between other tasks. The premise was straightforward, placing you in charge of a family's survival in a cartoonish prehistoric setting.
You control a caveman character, moving left and right with the arrow keys. Your job is to gather food items like fruits and meats that fall from the sky, while avoiding hazards like falling rocks or creatures. The space bar lets you shoot projectiles, typically stones or spears, to clear some of these dangers from your path. The main objective is to collect enough food for your family's celebration before time runs out or you take too many hits. The pacing is relentless; items and obstacles descend faster as you progress, creating a genuine scramble. It feels like a chaotic race against a clock, where a single mistake can undo your careful gathering.
