Pocket Soccer Overview
Pocket Soccer was one of those simple sports games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be a simulation. It was a quick, accessible game you could load in a browser and play for a few minutes between other tasks.
You control a single player on a small, top-down pitch using only your mouse. The objective is straightforward: get the ball into the opponent's goal. You click to make your player kick, and the direction and power seem tied to your cursor's position. You spend most of your time chasing the ball, positioning yourself for a clear shot, and trying to intercept passes. The game moves at a brisk pace, and matches can end quickly depending on the goal limit you set. It feels like a stripped-down, almost frantic version of soccer where every touch matters.
