Playing With Fire 3 Overview
Playing With Fire 3 was one of those games you'd find on a Flash portal in the late 2000s. It fit right in with the simple, competitive multiplayer titles that were easy to pick up during a break. The game didn't try to be more than it was, a straightforward arena battler you could play with friends on the same keyboard.
You control a small character in a maze filled with destructible blocks. Your main goal is to be the last one standing. You move with the arrow keys, dropping bombs with the spacebar to blast through obstacles and, hopefully, your opponents. You can pick up power-ups that increase your bomb count or the size of their explosions. The pacing is quick, with matches often ending in a few frantic minutes as the arena opens up. It feels like a test of quick positioning and timing, where a misplaced bomb can trap you just as easily as it clears a path.
