Pirates Second Blood Overview
You pilot your ship with the arrow keys, maneuvering to line up shots against enemy galleons. Aiming and firing the cannons is done with the mouse, which gives you a surprising amount of control over the trajectory of each shot. Your main tasks are to sink opposing ships and, between waves, rescue your own crewmen who are stranded on small rafts. Collecting gold from defeated enemies lets you visit a shop to repair your hull or upgrade your cannons. The pace is quick, with new enemies appearing as soon as others are sunk, and the difficulty comes from managing your position to avoid getting surrounded. It feels like a tense, focused duel on the water where every shot and turn matters.
