Operation Slaps Overview
Operation Slaps was one of those simple, quick games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't have a complex story or detailed graphics. It was just there, a straightforward concept you could load in a browser and play for a few minutes between other tasks. The game captured the spirit of that time, when small developers could put out a fun idea without much fuss.
You control a hand on the left side of the screen, facing an opponent's hand on the right. The goal is to slap the other hand while avoiding getting slapped yourself. You use your mouse to move your hand back and forth, trying to time your swings. The main mechanic is a simple back-and-forth slapping motion, but you have to watch for your opponent's tells and react quickly. The game moves at a fast pace, and the difficulty comes from the opponent's unpredictable timing. It feels like a quick, reactive test of your reflexes.
