Night Balloons Overview
Night Balloons was one of those simple, clever games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't need a complicated story or fancy graphics. You just showed up, clicked, and got lost in its quiet, methodical challenge for a few minutes at a time.
You control a small, sharp hook at the bottom of the screen. With a mouse click, you shoot it upward to catch the balloons drifting down from the top. Each balloon carries a box-headed character, and your job is to hook the string and deliver them safely to a platform on the right. The main objective is to clear each wave without popping any balloons by missing your shot or letting them drift into the spikes below. You earn more points for matching the color of the balloon to the color of the waiting platform. The pace is steady, but the precision required tightens as the screen gets more crowded. It feels like a calm test of your timing and aim, where a single rushed click can undo your careful work.
