Monster Destroyer Overview
Monster Destroyer was one of those straightforward action games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick, satisfying way to pass a few minutes between classes or work. The screen was usually filled with pixelated creatures, and your job was exactly what the title promised.
You control a small turret, often fixed at the bottom of the screen, using your mouse to aim and click to fire. Waves of monsters descend from the top, each with their own movement patterns. The main objective is simple: eliminate every monster before they reach you or overwhelm your defenses. You have to manage your shots carefully, sometimes leading a target or focusing fire on a tougher enemy. The pace picks up quickly, and the difficulty comes from the increasing numbers and speed of the monsters. It feels like a tense, reactive scramble to keep the screen clear.
