Mega Ryder Overview
Mega Ryder was one of those games you'd find on a Flash portal in the late 2000s. It fit right in with the simple, quick-play titles that were common then. You controlled a person on a scooter, and the goal was straightforward: keep moving forward for as long as you could.
You guide the scooter down an endless road using your mouse, tilting it to steer left and right. The road is filled with obstacles like pedestrians, cats, and scattered objects that you must weave around. Your scooter has a fuel gauge that constantly drains, so you have to collect fuel canisters along the route to stay in the game. The pace is steady but demanding; the obstacles come quickly, and running out of fuel ends your run instantly. It feels like a tense balancing act between careful navigation and the urgent hunt for your next gas can.
