Mask Show Overview
Mask Show was one of those Flash games you'd find tucked away on a portal site in the late 2000s. It had a simple, seasonal look, fitting right in with the other quick diversions of that era.
You control a cursor, drawing a continuous line across a grid of hexagons. The goal is to connect two or more identical Halloween icons, like pumpkins or bats, by highlighting the hexes between them. The line can snake anywhere, but it must stay on adjacent tiles. If you move the mouse too quickly, the path breaks and you have to start that connection over. The game starts calmly but the boards get more crowded, demanding quicker decisions. It feels like a quiet puzzle of tracing patterns against a ticking clock.
