Landfill Bill Overview
Landfill Bill was one of those simple, straightforward games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick distraction, the kind you'd play for a few minutes between other tasks. The visuals were basic, the concept was clear, and it fit right into that library of unpretentious browser games from that time.
You control a character, presumably Bill, at the bottom of the screen. Your job is to catch pieces of trash falling from above and throw them into the correct recycling bins that scroll past on a conveyor belt. The moment to moment play is all about speed and accuracy; you click to grab an item, then click again to launch it toward the appropriate bin for paper, plastic, or glass. If you're too slow, the trash piles up. If you throw it into the wrong bin, you lose points. The pace picks up steadily, making the sorting feel frantic after a short while. It feels like a race against a growing mess, where a single mistake can quickly unravel your efforts.
