Juiceplz Overview
Juiceplz was one of those simple, quick games you'd find during the Flash era. It came out in 2006, made by a developer named Nitrome. It didn't try to be anything grand, just a straightforward task set in a cartoon kitchen.
You control a cursor, clicking on numbered fruit to add them to a blender. The core loop is rhythmic. A customer appears with an order, like "3 banana, 2 strawberry." You click that many of each fruit, hit the blender to liquify them, then click again to pour the smoothie into a cup. Finally, you drag the drink to the waiting customer. The challenge is in the pacing. Orders come faster, sometimes with multiple customers at once, and you can easily add the wrong fruit if you rush. It creates a pleasant tension between speed and precision. The game feels like managing a tiny, frantic counter where your only goal is to keep everyone happy for one more minute.
