Ice Cream Run Overview
Ice Cream Run was one of those simple, colorful games you'd find during the Flash era. It came out in 2006, a time when a quick browser game could easily fill a few minutes between tasks. The goal was straightforward: you managed a counter at an ice cream shop, trying to serve customers as they came.
You control the shopkeeper, using your mouse to assemble orders. A customer would appear with a request, often for a specific number of scoops in a particular order. You had to click the correct ice cream flavors from the tubs and stack them onto a cone or into a cup, trying to match the picture exactly. The main objective was to complete as many orders as possible before making a mistake or letting the customers grow impatient and leave. The pacing started gentle but could get frantic as the line grew; the difficulty came from remembering complex multi-scoop sequences under time pressure. It felt like a test of your focus and speed, a small, sugary puzzle of coordination.
