Hold Them Back Overview
Hold Them Back was one of those simple, direct Flash games you'd find in the late 2000s. It didn't have a complex story or fancy graphics. You were just a soldier, the last one left, and the enemy was coming.
You control a single soldier in a trench. Using your mouse, you aim and fire a rifle at waves of enemies charging across a field. You have to reload manually by pressing R, which creates tense moments as they get closer. Your main objective is to survive as long as possible, stopping them from reaching your position. The pacing is relentless; the enemies keep coming, and the difficulty builds steadily. It feels like a frantic, last stand against an endless tide.
