Hencock Overview
Hencock was one of those simple, straightforward games from the Flash era. You would find it on a gaming portal, load it up in your browser, and be playing within seconds. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick, focused task.
You control a character whose sole job is to catch chickens. Using your mouse, you click on hens as they appear and move them into a waiting truck. The main objective is to fill the truck before time runs out. The mechanics are basic: you click to grab a hen, then click the truck to deposit it. Sometimes the hens move or there might be a slight delay, adding a bit of tension. The pacing starts relaxed but can get frantic as the timer winds down. It feels like a silly, repetitive chore made into a game.
