Head To Head Racing Overview
Head to Head Racing was one of those straightforward racing games you'd find on Flash portals in the mid-2000s. It didn't have a big studio name attached, just a simple premise delivered through the browser. You'd load it up during a break, and it was ready to go.
You control a car from a top-down perspective, steering it around tracks that often loop back on themselves. The main objective is to outpace an opponent over a set number of laps. You manage your speed, brake for sharp corners, and try to nudge the other car off its line. The tracks have barriers that you bounce off of, and the physics feel a bit loose, making collisions unpredictable. The pacing is quick, with races ending in a minute or two if you don't crash too much. It feels like a quick, chaotic scramble where a small mistake can cost you the lead.
