Greek Salad Overview
Greek Salad was one of those simple, straightforward games you'd find during the Flash era. It appeared online around 2006, a time when quick, single-screen games were common. The developer isn't widely remembered, but the game itself had a clear, uncluttered look typical of the period. You didn't need instructions to understand what was happening on screen.
You control a cursor, using the mouse to help an elderly woman, Abuela, prepare a salad. Your job is to assemble the dish by clicking on ingredients in the correct order as they appear at the bottom of the screen. You grab tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, and feta cheese, placing each one into the large bowl. The main objective is to complete each salad before time runs out. The pace picks up as you advance, with more ingredients and less time to think. It creates a mild, persistent pressure. The game feels like a quiet, focused task that gradually demands more of your attention.
