Garfield Coop Catch Overview
Garfield Coop Catch was one of those simple Flash games you'd find in the early 2000s. It fit right in with the era's casual browser games, often hosted on sites dedicated to cartoon characters. You didn't need an account or a download; you just clicked and started playing.
You control Garfield, positioned at the bottom of the screen. Eggs roll down a series of ramps from the chicken coop above. Your job is to move Garfield left and right to catch them in his basket before they hit the ground and break. The main objective is to catch as many eggs as you can to build a high score. The eggs come at a steady, manageable pace at first, but they gradually come faster and from different angles, forcing you to anticipate their paths. Missing a few eggs is fine, but the game ends if you let too many smash. It feels like a straightforward test of your reflexes and timing, a quiet few minutes of focused catching.
