Gangster Bros Overview
Gangster Bros was one of those games you'd find on a Flash portal in the late 2000s. It took the familiar side scrolling of a platformer and gave it a simple, comedic twist. The premise was straightforward, placing you in a pixelated city as a character who looked a lot like a certain famous plumber, but with a different kind of job to do.
You control a single character, moving left and right through urban streets. The moment to moment play involves running, jumping across gaps, and shooting. Your main objective is to progress through the level, eliminating the enemy gangsters that appear. You aim with your mouse and fire, clearing a path forward. The pacing is quick, and the difficulty comes from the timing of your jumps and shots, as enemies fire back. It feels like a straightforward, action focused diversion from that era of browser gaming.
