Fireworks Overview
Fireworks was one of those simple, satisfying games that felt typical of the Flash era. You'd find it on a casual gaming site, load it up in a browser window, and be playing within seconds. The presentation was straightforward, with a dark sky as your canvas and a clear, uncluttered interface. It didn't try to be anything more than a pleasant way to pass a few minutes.
You control a cursor, clicking on firework shells as they rise into the night. Each shell is marked with a color, and you must click it when it matches the color indicator at the bottom of the screen. Timing is everything; click on the wrong color or miss the moment, and the firework fizzles out silently. The main objective is to trigger these colorful explosions in the correct sequence, building chains of detonations for a higher score. The pace starts gently but gradually increases, introducing more shells and faster ascents, which demands sharper focus. It feels like conducting a silent, visual symphony of light against a black sky.
