Feudalism Overview
Feudalism was one of those strategy games you'd find during the Flash era. It had a simple, functional look that was common for the time, and it ran right in your browser. You didn't need to download anything, which made it easy to jump into for a session.
You control a single hero, moving them across a map to capture towns and build an army. The moment-to-moment play involves clicking to move your character and their accompanying soldiers, engaging enemy forces in automatic battles when you meet them. Your main goal is to conquer all the rival factions on the map. You start with a small force, recruiting basic units from your first town. Capturing larger settlements lets you access stronger troops, like knights or archers. The game can be unforgiving; if your hero dies in battle, it's over. This forces you to be cautious, managing your army's strength and picking your fights carefully. It feels like a slow, deliberate puzzle of map control and resource management.
