Falldown 2 Overview
Falldown 2 was one of those simple Flash games you'd find in the late 2000s. It belonged to a wave of browser based games that were easy to pick up but hard to put down. You didn't need an account or a download, just a web browser and a few minutes. It was a straightforward sequel that built on the original concept without complicating things.
You control a small ball that is constantly falling. Your job is to steer it left and right with your mouse, guiding it through gaps in the horizontal floors that scroll upward from the bottom of the screen. The main objective is to survive for as long as possible without letting the ball touch the top edge or get crushed by the rising platforms. The floors come in different patterns, sometimes with a single safe opening and other times with several, forcing quick decisions. The pace starts slow but steadily increases, making the gaps feel narrower and your reactions more urgent. It feels like a continuous balancing act, a test of focus where a single slip ends the run.
