Falldown Overview
Falldown was one of those simple Flash games you'd find in the mid-2000s, a time when a browser and a few minutes were all you needed for a quick distraction. It didn't have elaborate stories or complex graphics. It was just you, a ball, and a maze of descending platforms. The game had a clear, uncluttered look that felt typical for the era, a straightforward puzzle built for instant play.
You control a small ball, constantly falling down the screen. Your only job is to steer it left and right with the arrow keys, guiding it onto the narrow platforms that scroll upward. The goal is to prevent the ball from slipping off the top edge of the screen. Missing a platform sends you tumbling into the gap, and the game ends. The platforms themselves are full of holes you must avoid, and the speed gradually increases, demanding quicker reactions. It starts calmly enough, but the pace builds into a tense scramble. The experience is a focused, repetitive challenge of timing and precision.
