ElectroMania Overview
ElectroMania was one of those games you'd find on a Flash gaming site in the mid-2000s. It had a simple premise that fit right into the era of quick, physics-based browser games. You controlled a lone satellite, and the screen was usually a stark black space dotted with a few geometric shapes.
You use the arrow keys to maneuver your satellite in the zero gravity environment. The main goal is to destroy all the alien satellites in each level. To do this, you often have to bounce off walls or other objects to build momentum before colliding with an enemy. Some levels introduce obstacles like moving barriers or require you to hit switches. The pacing is deliberate; a wrong move can send you drifting helplessly off course, so you learn to make small, careful adjustments. The game feels like a quiet puzzle of motion and collision in an empty room.
