Eggz Overview
Eggz was one of those simple, absorbing games you'd find on a Flash gaming site in the early 2000s. It didn't have a complicated story or fancy graphics. It was just you, a grid of colored eggs, and a clear task. The game had a quiet, almost methodical feel compared to the frantic shooters and platformers that were also popular at the time.
You control a small launcher at the bottom of the screen, loaded with a single colored egg. Your job is to fire that egg into the large cluster above, aiming to connect three or more eggs of the same color so they vanish. The main objective is to clear a vertical path for the eggs, causing the entire mass to gradually sink. When any egg touches the top of your launcher zone, you finish the level. The mechanics are straightforward: you aim with your mouse, judge the ricochet off the walls, and try to set up chain reactions. The pace is slow and thoughtful, but the difficulty creeps up as the grid gets more cramped and your shots become more precise. It feels like solving a tidy, colorful puzzle with a satisfying pop.
