Dynasty Street Overview
Dynasty Street was one of those games you'd find in the later days of the Flash era, a straightforward brawler that loaded quickly in your browser. It didn't have the polish of bigger titles, but it had a clear, simple premise that pulled you right in. You were just a guy, or maybe a stick figure, thrown into a city block with a lot of enemies to deal with.
You control a character moving through a side-scrolling urban environment, from left to right. Your main goal is to fight through waves of opposing stick figures, often colored red, to clear the area. Moment to moment, you're punching and kicking, trying to knock enemies off the screen or defeat them outright. The mechanics are basic; you have a jump and an attack, and you learn to time your moves to avoid getting swarmed. The pacing is relentless, with new foes appearing quickly, and the difficulty comes from their sheer numbers more than complex patterns. It feels like a hectic, repetitive scramble where survival depends on constant movement and throwing punches into the crowd.
