Clear Green City Overview
Clear Green City was one of those simple, straightforward games you'd find during the Flash era. It came out in 2008, a time when a lot of browser games focused on a single, clear task. The goal was never complicated, just a quiet little simulation about keeping a neighborhood clean.
You control a small garbage truck from a top-down view, navigating a grid of suburban streets. Your job is to drive from house to house, stopping at each one to collect the trash bags left at the curb. The mechanics are basic; you click to move the truck and click again to pick up the bags when you're lined up correctly. The challenge comes from planning an efficient route to empty every bin before your shift ends, as the truck's capacity is limited and you must periodically drive to the dump. The pace is methodical, not frantic. It feels like a calm, almost meditative chore, turning a messy map into an orderly one.
