Cave Escape 2 Overview
Cave Escape 2 was one of those games you'd find during the Flash era, a straightforward action title built for a browser. It came from a time when simple concepts and quick sessions were the norm, and it fit right in.
You control a scientist running through a collapsing cave. The goal is to navigate five levels to reach the surface. You move your character with the mouse, which feels direct and a little slippery on the uneven terrain. To deal with obstacles, you click and hold to charge a telekinetic bomb, then release it to clear rocks or enemies in your path. Sometimes you need to hold a key to levitate specific stones, creating temporary platforms or clearing a way forward. The pace is urgent, with the screen shaking and debris falling, and the difficulty comes from timing your charges while managing your movement. It feels like a frantic scramble against the environment.
