Bmx Pro Style Overview
Back when Flash games were a common way to pass time online, BMX Pro Style was one of the straightforward ones. It didn't try to be a full simulation. You just loaded it up and started riding.
You control a rider on a BMX bike, pedaling across a simple, rolling landscape. The main goal is to land tricks for points as you hit jumps. You have two sets of trick buttons, one for harder moves and another for easier ones, which you press in combination with the arrow keys. Timing is everything; you need to pull back for a jump, then hit the trick buttons while in the air, and try to land smoothly. The brakes help you control your speed or set up for a trick. It moves at a steady, predictable pace, but mistiming a landing sends you tumbling. The game feels like a quick test of rhythm and button memory more than anything else.
