Bloxorz Overview
You control a rectangular block that is two units long. With the arrow keys, you roll it across a tiled stage, one square at a time. The goal is simple: maneuver the block so it stands upright over a specific square hole, then drop it in. The challenge comes from the block's shape. Rolling it end over end covers two squares, but tipping it onto its side makes it span four, which changes how you navigate narrow bridges and avoid falling off the edges. The levels start gently, teaching you how the block moves, but they quickly introduce switches that activate fragile tiles and other obstacles. The pacing is deliberate, often requiring you to stop and plan several moves ahead. It feels like solving a physical puzzle with your mind, where every successful roll into the hole brings a quiet, solid satisfaction.
