Bloody Blades Overview
Bloody Blades was one of those games you'd find buried in a Flash portal around 2005 or so. It didn't have a big studio name attached, just a simple, direct title that told you exactly what to expect. In that era, a lot of games were about quick, violent action you could finish in a single browser tab, and this fit right in.
You control a lone swordsman in a dark, enclosed arena. The objective is straightforward: survive endless waves of ninjas. You move with the arrow keys, using A to swing your blade, S for a brief speed boost, and D to block incoming strikes. Holding the attack button charges a magic ball you can launch into a crowd. The pacing is relentless. Enemies spawn constantly, and the difficulty ramps up quickly, forcing you to constantly dodge, block, and counterattack. It feels like a frantic, repetitive dance where one mistake ends the round.
