Andy Law Overview
Andy Law was one of those games you'd find in the later days of the Flash era, a time when browser games often experimented with mixing genres. It presented itself as a side-scrolling action game where you controlled a new superhero, but the tone was less about capes and more about managing an arsenal.
You guide Andy through levels using WASD, with a specific quirk: holding the jump key charges a higher leap. The mouse aims your weapon, and left-clicking unleashes a barrage of bullets into the swarming enemies. You constantly cycle through a selection of guns using number keys, reloading manually and even dropping weapons to make room. The objective is straightforward survival, pushing through each stage while collecting ammo and cash to buy upgrades at shops. The pace is hectic, demanding quick swaps between shooting, moving, and managing your limited inventory. It feels like a chaotic scramble where your success hinges less on precision and more on adapting your firepower to the next wave of threats.
